Step 1: Go to Chrome Web Store Extensions Section. Step 2: Search MetaMask. Step 3: Check the number of downloads to make sure that the legitimate MetaMask is being installed, as hackers might try to make clones of it. Step 4: Click the Add to Chrome button. Or whatever browser you use.
Step 5: Upon downloading the extension follow the steps provided and then pause on this screen.
Step 6: Click on "Create a Wallet."
Step 7: After creating your wallet, make sure to write down your seed phrase!

Don’t share your Secret Recovery Phrase and private keys.
Anyone who has your Secret Recovery Phrase or private keys could send Ether or tokens from your accounts. Never share them with anyone, including the MetaMask team. MetaMask will never ask for you to provide this.
Step 8: Upon completing the above steps. Take a look at your MetaMask dashboard. This dashboard is where you are able to access your wallet address. From there you will be able to receive/send ETH.
